Mia Mia (Sub-regional Shiraz)

Mia Mia (Sub-regional Shiraz)

This wine is made from a blend of two vineyards in the southern part of the Heathcote region we like to call Mia Mia. The vines lay on loams and dense clay over mudstone and shale. Often the last to ripen during our vintage due to later bud burst dates, cooler night-time temperatures and slightly fewer sunshine hours, these vineyards also tend to show more liquorice, plum, tar and herb than their northern counterparts, and are worthy of their own distinction.

Vintages: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
