Shiraz Pressings

Shiraz Pressings

The Shiraz Pressings is created by separating the final two buckets of wine out of each press-load and pouring them into new French and American oak hogsheads.

Usually blended back into the Springflat Shiraz which is our flagship wine, it is only in very special years, when the Springflat Shiraz free-run has an abundance of natural tannin, that we bottle the Shiraz Pressings separately.

This wine generally requires time in the cellar to show its true power.

Vintages: 1995, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2012
