The Mallard (Riesling)


The Mallard Riesling is currently exclusively taken from a single vineyard near the small township of Tooborac, south of Heathcote some 15 kilometres. Being a very cool site, with soils of granite sands and clays, it is a vineyard that enhances Riesling’s natural propensity for freshness and acidity. Partly barrel fermented in new French oak, The Mallard offers delightful texture to accompany its typical citrus fruit freshness.
